wow, this one took me a long long time. My hope here was to make a 2d looking illustration out of 3d objects.

Could’ve been worse…
hit the “find more” for a couple close ups and a video turnaround.

For some reason I’ve really been hitting the monsters around here. Whats special about this one you ask? Why thank you for asking, hit ‘find more’ for a couple tidbits…
Just a couple old characters i dug up and a fresh, new, zombie. nothing too mind-blowing…except i did make the zombie skin texture from pictures of pancakes, bread, rotten apple and bananas! i dont know about you but knowing that makes the zombie much more disgusting…click on the image to get a good look.
well, its been awhile…i’ve been trying to work on projects using themes/tools i’m crappy at…and thus…weird chainsaw guy!
this is my first 3d human and that chainsaw case was a doosey, not to mention mapping 3 fur sets on to the same piece of geometry…sheesh! I’d post some “making-of” stuff but its all pretty messy and brings back bad memories. Just enjoy him for his chainsawly self.
Everyone enjoys a cook out…especially pumpkins. I recently entered a competition to be published in a book showcasing artwork done with Autodesk software.
This is what i came up with…
I thought I’d try and learn something or other about using fur in Maya…and whats furrier than a spider?
