wow, this one took me a long long time. My hope here was to make a 2d looking illustration out of 3d objects.

Could’ve been worse…
hit the “find more” for a couple close ups and a video turnaround.
I put more details into this guy than i usually do; but the real killer was painting all those textures; by the end i had 117 individual textures. yowza! I painted all those textures so i could control the highlights, shadows and number of colors to make it look like i’d hand drawn it.
I’m particularly proud of the tank, lots of time right there.

Any piece that isn’t the same texture, aside from highlight and shadow, isn’t the same geometry.

There’s also a little rigging in there. I can do a little rigging to make things easier but I dont have to like it!
